The man whose ego knows no bounds is back in the news with this little quip made to Heather Mills, the 'blond' fiancee of Paul McCartney:

November 2, 2001 -- Bill Clinton has reportedly said he is better trained to handle America's terrorism crisis than President Bush.
Heather Mills, the blond fiancée of Paul McCartney, said the former president made the revelation to her recently when she asked if he still wanted to be in the White House.

"I said to Clinton, ‘Do you wish you were president now?' and he said, [b]‘I feel I would be better trained for it, more prepared,'[/b] " Mills said, according to Ananova news service.

"It must be frustrating for him."

Clinton's spokeswoman, Julia Payne, could not be reached for comment last night.

But Mills also defended Bush: "I did not like Bush before this happened, but now I find him very human."

They are still trying to create chinks in Bush's armor by raising false ideas that they can make use of later. As it stands now the Demo's are cooked. The only way they can win is by creating the impression, which will be grabbed onto by many, that the war is not going well. This will be blamed on Bush. So this is what we must fight.

Listen... I despise Clinton as much as anyone, but a perfectly reasonable interpretation of the quote in question is that Clinton, after 8 years in office, would feel more capable of dealing with a crisis than he might have earlier in his term. He did not say or infer anything comparing his abilities to Bush's.

I feel Bush's greatest attribute is that he recognizes the need to suppress his ego (unlike Clinton) and to surround himself with capable lieutenants. I have confidence in the Bush presidency because of people like Cheney and Rumsfeld.

Screw that self-aggrandizing prick. If he was better prepared and more capable, why is Bush having to solve a problem that Clinton just stood by and watched fester? Remember the first attack on the World Trade Center in 1993? The Khobar Towers bombing in Saudi Arabia? The USS Cole? The US embassies in Tanzania and Kenya? Those were all al-Qaeda. What did X42 do? He launched a couple of Tomahawks and killed a damned asprin factory to distract us all from his dick and Monica's stained dress.
