I have been doing some major fall cleaning at the company I work and came acros a ten pound box of Kevlar 29 Arimid fiber dated 9/01. Boss say's toss it, but I'm thinking I maybe I want it. Wouldn't Hesse or another place want it for their Kevlar receiver lowers? Any other idea's what to use it for and what would a ten pounds of it be worth to the right people?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks [bounce]

THe fiber itself is not worth a whole lot.  It is the resin and processing that add cost.

Yes, it's still in the box with the info label attached. It say's: DuPont, 100% Kevlar 29 Arimid Staple, DTEX 1.7 6mm Type 970, DPF 1.5 0.25 inch. Then 10.2 pounds,& production date 3/30/00.

Thanks Del, for the tip. Let me know if anybody wants it. We can work something out. No deal has been formalized yet.

mk1iii ... Hello from Minnesota. Why don't you write Robert Hesse & ask him? It appears that you have/had a #10 box of short fiber & I'm fairly certain that he needs long strand for the lowers. he'll know best ... Bud
