Ive got a set I need to install. Ive installed their version for HK's on my Vector V51. I like the front sight post on it. |

I don't see why it wouldn't work, but I wouldn't waste my money on it.
If I really wanted something like that, I would paint the dots on there myself and save the money for ammo. |

ACOG???? You guys do know the newer battery powered optics have an extreme life on a fresh set right? Are you that paranoid your batteries are going to run out at 'that' exact second you wont use those optics at all? hahaha...
I get the point of a back up sight but I wouldnt forget about optics either...

Tritium is a radioactive material that glows. I don't think paint is going to give you the same effect.

I tried Trijicon version and found the front sight too thick for a 16" carbine where even the standard front sight is a little too thick. Thick is fine for close in, but at 200 yards those front sights are HUGE.
If you need a lit scope without the need for batteries Try TriJicon TriPower.

I don't think you really understand the purpose of these sights. They glow in low light. They're supposed to help you aim when it's too dark to do so with normal sights. Maybe you just don't shoot in the dark, and that's fine, but for what these sights are meant to do, there is no comparison between them and the standard A2. |

I spent the money and probably shouldn't have.
The front sight works fine because it is farther from the eye and is a clear dot. But the rear sight...  Should look like the first pic, but with my eyes being up close looks like the second "enhanced" version. It could be my old bad eyes, but I think the rear tritium sights are too close to the eye to be effective. GM |

I'm not worried so much about the Tritium aspect, I'm intersted in the oversized apeture. Should be faster. |
