I finally had it out with a guy at work. He's a communist. He thinks everything the democratic party does is God like. He would like to see all guns taken away. He blames all the worlds problems on corporations, though we both work for one. He thinks Bush is akin to hitler.

Last night, he said the guy that went into hillary's campagain office was probably a "right wing, christian, gun nut", because those are the only people that actually want to and do kill other people. I could go on and on, but you get the point, he is as left and out of reality as they come.

He got really pissed and our rout came about when he started attacking the news media and the republicans. He said that if any of the democrats did something like that "right wing, christian" did in hillary's office last night, the media would crucify them. He said the republican canidates can get away with murder, but if a democrat gets oral sex, they crucify them. So I, informed him that the republicans have had their share of attacks by the media and that bad democrats and republicans "should" be exposed, regardless of who they are. That sent him off the deep end.

He said that Bush was the worst president in history and akin to hilter. I said, I'd agree with "probably" the worst president, however Clinton was just as bad or amost as bad as Bush. He blew a nut at that. I tried to explain that Clinton lost the nuclear codes, Carter started the wire tapping of Americans, that basically, just about every president has done something that is completely wrong when it comes to the Consitution. And that sometimes they don't have a choice, because money, power and politics have a way of corrupting even the most upstanding people. Well, Clinton never did any wrong to him.

It went on from there and got a lot worse, I told him that he was full of shit, dillustional and I could place facts in front of his face and he wouldn't have the the guts to admit he was wrong. This exchange was in front of other coworkers.

So here's where you come in. I need help. Help me dig up some dirt to put this guy in his place. I am looking for any information about unconstitutional or illegal activities Carter or Clinton did. I need links to government documents, proveable facts, etc. I plan on taking this information into work and laying it right down in front of him in front of our coworkers, so he gets a really good dose of humble pie. I am sick and tired of this guys bs.

Normally I try to keep things light at work and don't get into political debates, unless it's just a discussion with current events and I know the people I am speaking with are of the same mindset or will at least listen to another point of view. Basically, I try to deal with people that will show respect as much as I try to give it. But this time, the gloves are going to come off.

When you run into those people there is no use debating them.  When you do put solid facts in front of them, they just say, "Well, whatever."  And change the subject and begin ranting again.

For example, yesterday on Hannity, some guy was going on about how screwed up the educational system is.  Hannity countered, with all the government money, which comes out of our pockets poured into it, it should be much better.  Educational spending is at an all time high, but education is getting worse and worse.

Then the guy changed the subject, we need universal health care, govt should pay for it.  Health care should be a govt supported thing, not through private means as it is done now.  Hannity countered, but education is govt supported, and it is screwed up, which you brought up.  So, why do you think that government can do government controlled health care any better than it can do government controlled education?

The guy stumbled, vapor locked, and changed the subject again.  Hannity told him, no, go back to the last thing, why do you think government controlled and supported education is so bad, but you think they can do health care better?  The guy basically just vaporlocked and Hannity cut him off.

You will find that every time you confront these superliberal nutcases with facts, they just go "whatever" and change the subject.  You just can't win and argument with them because they can't stay focused.  They just won't admit they are wrong.

- First World Trade Center bombing, Clinton talked a lot of shit. That's about it.
- Clinton knowingly sold sensitive technology to his communist friends in China.
- Clinton made short-sighted budget cuts to the defense budget including the intelligence services I think.
- The Tech Boom was not because of Clinton, it was going to happen no matter who was in the White House. Presidents generally have very little control over the economy itself.
- The USS Cole incident, more shit talking but no action.
- The embassy bombings in Tanzania and Kenya. Only fires a few cruise missiles and calls it a day.


Now we have his dirty lefist wife trying to steal the election and recieving "donations" from waiters/launderers/etc. who were coerced into "donating" to the Clinton campaign. Why isn't there an investigation as to who forced those laborers to give up their hard earned money to someone who has a shady history of associating with less than loyal groups of people?

We call it corporate capacity, The Desert Entry Act and The Department of Agriculture. As well as the Department of Commerce and Labor, Department of Interior, the Evironmental Protection Agency, Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Reclamation, Bureau of Mines, National Park Service, and the IRS control of business through corporate regulations.

8. Equal liability of all to labor. Establishment of Industrial armies, especially for agriculture.

I agree 99.9% of the time to just leave these people alone. I just don't normally get into poltical discussions with these "way out" leftists. No matter what you say, they won't listen. It's funny how they claim to be the most peaceful, people loving people in the world, when they are usually the exact opposite if you disagree with them. And most of the time, they seem to base their opinions on flat out emotion with no thought behind their beliefs.

As for this guy, he goes off all the time at break time. We don't get into these discussions at work, because we are skilled tradesmen and don't have time to just BS. But at lunch break, this guy goes off on certain days and rails about how bad our system is and how evil republicans are, etc. Its' almost like he has a cycle of good days and bad days, when he gets really quiet for a couple of days, the next day he's going to explode.

He goes after me, because everyone knows I am a Christian and love to shoot. Everyone else is supportive except this guy. If he had his way, he'd be the only one that owned a gun and would make "peaceful" subjects of us all. To him, he is the only God.

Basically, he pissed me off so bad, I just want to turn tables on him so hard, like what Hannity did, that he doesn't want to even open his mouth in front of me. That way I don't have to hear any more of his BS, he can go talk to his bird instead of railing in front of us during our break. My other coworkers have gotten him to ignor them, but I am the only "really" avid shooter and he hates that.  

And as for a "hostile" workplace. I don't go that route, unless someone is making a direct threat against me and says they are going to do me harm. You can disagree with me and even yell at me, just don't threaten me. And he hasn't gone that far yet. This guy is just venting because he is mentally unstable being a ultra-leftist living in a society that goes against everything he believes. I don't care if his rants and raves, just quite doing it in front of me. But he won't unless he is put in his place. So, if he opens his mouth again, I'll plain on calmly placing some facts in front of him and telling him he's full of shit and to keep his opinions to himself in front of me, because I am sick of hearing his aliens are coming to get him rants.

Of course, we all know that ARFCOMMERS and other assorted hard-core libertarians and conservative extremists never use tortured logic, personal attacks (there's a thread where people describe how they want to 'dance a jig' if bill clinton dies), or fail to actually examine a complex issue instead of using a cliche they learned in high school.

I would bring up Clintons military cutbacks and their consequences today (Isn't it the Dems who are bitching about how our militarys stretched too thin?).

Waco and Ruby Ridge are good ones, but not likely to work as he will mostly agree with what happened in those places.  

The lack of action during terrorist attacks during the 90's is a good one, as well as the accepting illegal campaign contributions from the Communist Chinese.  

Hitlerys Whitewater antics might be good, as well as her not giving a Federal Grand jury documents, instead "Finding" them a few days after they no-billed the charges.  

I would bring up Carters pulling support from the Shah, and then taking no action against the Ayatollah.  I would also detail the human consequences for Iranians under the Islamic regeime - female teachers beaten to death in front of their students, etc.  The same to his heroic response to the Soviet invasion of Asscrackistan - pulling out of the Moscow Olympics.

There was a thread here last week "Hillery in her own words" or something like that.  I would definatly bring that up.  It's different things she has said to her Secret Service people and the like.

There are really so many to choose from it's mind boggeling.
