so, i woke up this morning and stumbled into the living room to catch the morning libs telling me their version of the news, just like any other day.

however, on NBC, they were talking about the "new face of freedom". an ugly face indeed. they were almost celebrating people's willingness to fork over most, if not all of our liberties in the name of security!

they mentioned some polls on their website, i couldn't find them, that resulted in [b]65%[/b] of Americans in favor of fewer liberties, and then interviewed a "sample" of people personally.

of course they were women, mothers to be exact, and each one, as if prompted by script, said something like this: [b]"...well, i have children, so yes, i'm willing to give up ANYTHING for their safety..."[/b]

i just don't need that crap at 05:30! [puke]

Then its a good thing we're around. This is what RKBA is all about.

I'm optimistic, however. I see an opportunity for conservatives and gun owners that has not existed for a very long time. Even many libs are re-thinking many of their views. We need to educate, persuade and lead. We may never get another chance like this.

As for the source, does this really surprise anyone? NBC is a socialist soap box on 24/7. You'll be unlikely to ever persuade that bunch that our rights and freedoms are a good thing. If it were up to them we'd already have computer chips in the back of our heads.
