i cant find one but id love to for a project im thinking up. any help gentalmen?

Its called a TIG welder, and its been done before

ETA - Well, his isn't welded, but if your going to do the fore ends, that would be the easiest way.

ETA - Well, his isn't welded, but if your going to do the fore ends, that would be the easiest way.


What is the purpose or advantage of having the crossed gas tubes, where one barrel provides gas to the bolt carrier of the opposite upper???

It's so that both barrels will function.

Wow... what a detailed response!!!

Are you saying the only link between the upper and the lower weapons are the gas tubes?  AND that there is no linkage to the upper trigger assy?  And the upper receiver basically is configured so that when the bolt goes fully forward it trips the auto sear on the upper weapon?  AND that the crossed gas system synchronizes the two weapons?

Is that what "so both barrels functions" means!!???
