TNN is once again trying to "kill" American Shooter. here's my correspondence with Jim Scouten this morning:

I was pissed too, my digital TV guide still showed it on at 1030 but no show.

It was on at 9:00 am this morning in my neck of the woods. It is usually on at 10:30. It seems to me that TNN can never settle on a program schedule. Their shows move around every week. I think AS should move to the Outdoor Channel.

I finally got a reply from Jim Scoutten on the e-mail address/phone # of those in charge at TNN. He said they're not interested in the thoughts of gun enthusiasts. He seems pretty bitter, as is expected. Maybe if enough of us ask him he will get the TNN suits contact info for us.

Probably won't do any good. As you may know, TNN is owned by CBS now, in fact they are no longer calling themselves The Nashville Network, but are The "National Network". I think they're trying to appeal to a politically correct demographic and probably don't want a show about all those scary guns.

As mentioned, TNN is no longer owned locally or by the Gannett family. I grew up watching Opryland get built & then as TNN built their studios.

Now, as mentioned, TNN is owned by the "yankees" who don't give a rats ass about firearms or the fact that AS draws several million watchers per week.

ESPN booted AS since ABC owns ESPN & they're anti-gun.

Jim Scouten has spoken at my gun club in the past & he was extremely nice & entertaining.
Pity he has such a good show that doesn't get prime-time exposure.
