Obama?  Edwards?  I think not.  She knows that she'll need support from right-leaning fence-sitters so I predict that she'll pick a RINO...she'll pick John McCain.

Thoughts?

Saddam Hussein or Chris.  The Hildebeast is really attracted to Saddam, and they have great sex, but Saddam doesn't respect the Hildebeast in the morning.  Chris, on the other hand, is a sensitive 90's guy whom the Hildebeast likes to use as an emotional tampon, but the Hildebeast is not really attracted to Chris because Chris never sets boundaries or acts like a man.

I have this strange hunch she'll dig up and reanimate one of the following corpses to assist her:

--Gobbels
--Trotsky
--Chamberlin

...and possibly Ayn Rand, but only so she could hook Ayn up to a turbine and let her spinning corpse power the US as part of Hillary's energy plan.

...For those of you wondering, my short list for Giuliani is Elliot Ness or John Gotti.  He might end up fighting with Hillary over Trotsky.

Perhaps because it was all the news here a few days ago, and perhaps because he's a senator from my state and is therefore on my radar, but Evan Bayh is setting himself up quite nicely.  He recently threw his official support behind her and was named co-chair of her national campaign committee.  That detail may preclude him from being picked, I don't know the laws.  But he considered running himself.  And despite his rather neutral politics while Gov. of Indiana, he has toed the party line while in Washington so that you can't tell the difference between him and T. Kennedy unless you do a breathalizer.

I think he's hitching his wagon to her star.

Yes, she (or any other Dem) needs around 90% of the Black vote to win.  If she needs to have Obama on the ticket to get those votes, then she is screwed.  She needs to reach out to moderates AND keep the Black vote or she won't get any more votes than Dukakis did in 1988.  Obama is the guy she would need to shore up a sagging base in the Democratic party, not to reach out to the uncommitted.  If the base is that weak by the time of the convention, then she isn't going to win.

She really needs a white male moderate Democrat from a state that the Democrats must carry to win, such as Florida or Ohio.  That way she can at least try to convince the weak minded that she represents moderation.

Of course, Obama would be perfect if all she needed was a strong base, like in a three-way Presidential race.  If there are two other candidates and they are both to the Right of her, then Obama makes sense.  Not otherwise.
