I think this is one that will really piss me off if they start condensing the story to cram it into 12 episodes, or start rewriting it to fit their vision, instead of the vision of the author of the source material. If they do it well, we will finally have an anime that answers the age old question of "what happens when a chuunibyou is training to be able to counter nukes with his bare hands, has a fatal encounter with truck-kun, and is reincarnated in a world where he can finally add magic to his list of combat skills?" ...and picks up a devoted harem along the way. I do enjoy it when they take time to detail/name each gun in anime, and after taking a glance at the post above it appears they took some time with each gun. I'll give it a try when all the dub episodes come out.

As for S3: nothing is confirmed yet, but it's possible. I couldn't even ballpark a likelihood percentage though. |

They can’t end it there, can they? Without knowing anything definitive about it, somehow I’d give equal weight to both possibilities - yeah, there’s gotta be more to come, and, no, leaving the audience begging for more would be both a cruel and a shrewd move. |

View Quote I just started this today because I wanted to watch other shows first and I've already read the books. I don't know how the season ends because I haven't gotten that far but I can say I am really shocked at how much they are skipping from the novels. All the key elements are there I guess but it's a show about the behind the scene planning and they aren't showing any of it. If you like the show I'd really suggest reading the light novels. I know it's said a whole lot but they really are much better than the anime. Not that I am saying the anime is bad because I'm still enjoying it. It's just jarring to know how much is missing. |

Honestly I don't know what all they can put into it because a different storyline begins right after the events of episode 12 so I am thinking it will just show the cleanup of episode 12. When I did a google search to see if there was going to be more to this season several of the results also said that season 3 is already confirmed for 2023 so that is good news. That should bring the anime to the end of the Year One Light Novels. I want to start the Year 2 novels but have to wait until I get a little extra cash to buy them. |

That’s a tough about-face to pull off, but somehow they managed to do it. |

I don't think he realized it would be that cringy though. Regardless of whatever the reason is for her to be that way the fact remains that she IS that way. Plus it's not even the "OMGZ, I LOVE AINZ SO MUCH" stuff that's the most annoying. Its the way Ainz will be having an important conversation with someone else (usually another guardian) and Albedo will annoyingly interrupt with a "HOW DARE YOU..." even though Ainz keeps telling her to stop it. Hell, sometimes she'll do it multiple times in the same conversation. |

Woof, his labyrinth harem sure got filled to overflowing within the last few minutes of ep. 12, didn’t it…
Did they think that a second season was a slam-dunk only to have the rug unexpectedly pulled out from underneath, or was it planned that way? Miria, Vesta, Brocken, and Rutina are all depicted. All the harem girls have been featured in the opening credits for the whole season, and in the fantasy scene at the beginning of episode 2. Click To View Spoiler But I don't translate Sherry's "drop dead" to mean "all women with tits should drop dead", but rather it's men who ogle big opaii who should drop dead. In the book she's got some booze in her when she meets Vesta (the 6'8" redhead with basketballs), and says straight out that "it's the guys who only care about a large chest who should drop dead". (she took one look at Vesta and concluded that the only reason Michio bought her was for her fun bags) Michio does seem to feel that way about spectacularly handsome elfmen in the books. And he really doesn't like Brocken, although I like the guy. Duke Brocken is kind of brash, but he's a good leader and a solid but devious character who really does want to help Michio grow and improve. I think Michio's dislike of Brocken is more for the hotness of Brocken's wife than anything Brocken does. I seem to recall Michio going five rounds of five girls (do all twenty five fucks last two minutes each?) shortly after acquiring Rutina through use of Sex Maniac. He's at his limit to maintain a hard-on for four or six fucks (he's 17, remember) without activating his Sex Maniac job skills. "Enhanced Vitality" |
