I just ordered 2000 rounds of "dented" .223 from Southern Ammo. It was only $170.74 delivered. I think I'm drooling in anticipation. [smash]

If it's like the "dented" rounds I got from Southern, you'll be very, very pleased. Good ammo, received shortly after order. I love when UPS leaves "gifts" on the doorstep!
I've run throught 500 of 2K without a hitch.

I ordered 1000 last friday and got it monday. Most of it was Israeli. TZZ and TZ headstamped. Had a decent amount of winchester (WCC) and a few Twin Cities and Lake City. The oldest round was from '73.
About 10% had loose bullets that I will have to get recrimped before I'll shoot them. But al in all, not a bad deal. And they are checked an gaurenteed to chamber.

Is this safe? I thought that dented ammo could potentially cause overly high chamber pressures.

Lots of people on the boards seem to be happy with it. To my knowledge no one has died yet! [:D]
