Just use your imagination. Any kind of water bottle--milk jugs explode great, 5-gallon jugs from restaurants that had fryer grease make a neat sound and explode good. If you have a safe place (very rare!!) to do it, fill a bottle with gasoline and put a candle on top. Start with a small bottle as you will be AMAZED at the results. Bowling pins are good, especially with handguns. Certs, wafers, crackers, cookies, fruit--apples are in season, cheap beer, Rosie O'Donnell dolls with exploding targets taped to the chest (ask ColtShorty about this, hehe), tennis balls, racquetballs, ex-wives (just kidding, sort of), terrorists (NOT kidding!), cats, prairie dogs (might involve travel), anything, really, except glass and metal objects likely to cause ricochets. Be careful with the one mentioned above involving objects floating on water. The surface of water will cause ricochets. This is fun if it is a pond with a large hill behind though. The possibilities are endless. Newbies love water jugs--they are always best to use when teaching someone. Oh, I forgot water balloons and clay pigeons set against a hill, especially with handguns.
