Took a few toys to the range this weekend. Enjoy:

There are targets out to 300 yards but you cant see them in the pic. Best part about this range is that I am the only person with a key.

It's some Egyptian rifle based off of the FN49, IIRC.   Hakim maybe?  Someone will chime in with the correct answer.

I just sold mine, and im curious as to how the price differs based on location.

I payed $380 for Hakim, 3 10round mags, several spare internal parts. It was a great deal. I also got 1800 rounds of Yugo 8mm.

ah!  Nice score!

I paid 450 for mine, it was in excellent condition (best ive ever seen), serial 1422 (of 60,000).

extra mags are great, especially if original.  original mags run $85-100 apiece!!!

I hope your gas system is free, and not froze up, thats what worried me with mine.

yugo 8mm is some of the best ammo to use in Hakims, nice choice

MG13 mags, they can be slightly modified for use in Hakim rifles yes...as well as regular K98's and other Mausers

I got to shoot a Hakim a few months ago.  Friggen heavy gun!

And WEIRD.  The whole push forward, pull back, push forward again.

Are you saying that an m48 mauser can run off of a 25 round magazine? Please explain necessary modifications.

yep, google MG13 mag, and look around .. you will find online tutorials on the topic.

They can be modified for most Mausers, and yes including M48s I would imagine, as it would fall into that catagory.

its possible, just take a look around on google.
