I'm not even going to bother to read the article, because we all know what the paper and various "child advocates" interviewed for the story will say- it's not our fault. We don't have enough funding. We need yet more tax dollars- for the children!

For all the good that will be accomplished by such, one might as well heave a bucket of money into the intakes of a jet engine- oh, wait- we've been doing that already, since the days of LBJ's Great Society. Heaving money at people who just don't want to get off the poverty bus, no matter what is done for them.

Never mind.
