Its been out for over 3 months now, if you wanted it before now you could have ordered it from an european software company, or picked it up on ebay.

I bought the UK version from an online software company in California last month.
Game is good simulation.. I like the fact that you have all the different specialties and all the different vehicles and aircraft. There will be a patch out to upgrade the UK version to the US version. Plus, now they'll have dedicated multiplayer servers [:)]. [url]www.flashpoint1985.com[/url] |

They released two patches since it's release over here in june. First was a major bugfix, the second fixed some more and added the M113 VULCAN and SU25 russian tankkiller plane.
Plus I heard the US version will be sporting dedicated server support. Which will be downloadable for the Euro versions. It's very good, but will be better once the online gaming gets of the ground Kuiper |

There is a 64 meg playable Demo.

OK, I just got my copy for about 44 bucks... Sitting through the next four hours of law school classes in Real Estate Transactions and Civil PRactice is going to be unbearable!!!

It was just released (shipped) August 28th, may take a few days for some of the Retail stores to get them on the shelves. May have to give it a few days.
I think the official release date was Sept 6th?? Something like that. |
