Last night I looked at a new IR reflective unit patch printed on honeycomb reflective material through a generation 1 plus night vision sight to test the effectiveness of the patch.
At 10 feet the patch didn't reflect at all unless I lit it up with an IR lamp.
Is this normal, I mean is it because my NV scope is not sensitive enough to make the patch glow?
Will a generation 3 NV scope work better without the use of an IR lamp?
