But I need a host; photobucket won't do these pictures justice. I had a Nikon D100 with a wideangle lense and my dad a D200 with a fisheye lense. What a great, once in a lifetime experience.

Transferring them to Fieroloki now; they're big files so watch out lol.

Was it on Aluminum Overcast? I had a flight on that B-17 just before 9/11. Worth every penny of the ~$400 I paid.

I was going to "ride" that one last October, but backed out due to weather.
I'm going this year, I don't care it went up 25 bucks, it's worth it.
These magnificent machines won't be flying much longer.

MiG29 flight -->
cm.bell-labs.com/cm/cs/who/ken/mig.html

Back at treetop level and 500 kmph, Vladimir took the control and said he was going to show me level acceleration. We were light by this time with 900 kg of fuel left. We had started with 4500 kg of fuel. It was the most amazing part of the flight, but not very spectacular to write about. We simply went from 500 kmph to 1000 kmph in five seconds at treetop level. The only thing I could think of to describe it is the scene from Star Wars. "Go strap yourselves in. I'm going to make the jump to light speed."

YOU LUCKY FUCKIN BASTARD!!!

Thanks for sharing your experience with us... not a lot of people will get to do what you got to do, and I'm sure it will always have a special place in your memory.

Check out www.zoto.com for photo hosting.  The free account is 2GB of storage, but you can only create 3 galleries.  You CAN hotlink your photos, and even in different resolutions!   The 'pro' account is $25 a year, but you get 10GB of space, and unlimited galleries.  There are some other features you get, but I don't use them.  The uploader program is easy, you drag pictures into it, and hit upload.  Then you can go to the site and drop them into galleries.
