From what I've read it's pretty much a normal thing with the finish on the Eclipse's. I have one also and haven't had any problems with the finish yet. When I do I'll GunKote it.

kimber had some problems with that finish when they first came out. don't know if they ever got it right or not.
give them a call. |

It's embarrassed so it's dissolving the name off the side of it so the COLTS don't laugh at it. Ok, had to do that...........looks like oil was left in the depression and the finsh did not stick properly.
I'd see if K can refinish it for you personally as that is an area I would not expect finish wear to begin myself. Always worth a call. |
