Although its from a Libertarian site, it appears to be well regarded.  Besides, it might be fun.

Step One.  Take the test:
www.theadvocates.org/quiz.html

Step Two.  Tell us how you scored using the survey questions.

RESPOND WITH YOUR TEST ANSWERS -- NOT WHAT YOU PROFESS TO BE.

Isn't this site run by a libertarian orginization? The top two political descriptions are (in order)

Libertarian
Centrist

Don't think it sounds reasonable. The questions are slanted, and there arn't enough to really get a good idea.

Yeah.  There's a million ways to slice the pie.  It's interesting anyway.

Looks like you may be right.  Seems like we're ending up with a disproportionate amount of Libertarians.  They didn't get me though.  I landed right in the "Centrist" box.  Whew.

Pretty much confirms what I've always thought I was a Conservative leaning libertarian.

Some of you guys sound cinical, complaining about how "SHORT" a political quiz is that is called "World's Smallest Political Quiz" do you know how stupid that makes you sound?

These brief points are the CORE of libertarian values. If you agree with these, albiet SIMPLE concepts, this means you are libertarian as well.

j/k, I did that on purpose. Here's me:

Oh, another big news flash here.
If you guys laid down your personal feelings about drugs, and realized that making them illegal only makes the problem worse on SO MANY LEVELS, then you may score dead center libertarian.

Why?
Becuase libertarians are VERY conservative, not socialist like the current administration.

According to the poll I'm a libertarian, but I don't agree with many of the planks of the libertarian party.

I vote Republican.

Many of the questions are also the core of other political groups. So much so that it with how few questions there are it is very hard to escape being 'libertariaan'

Use of illegal drugs does have consequences for others.  I.e. Drunk drivng.

Sex also has consequences such as passing diseases.

There is no such thing as free trade as other countries will subsidize their products and impose trade tariffs in addition to lying about product quality.

Some laws that people do not like are needed because this is not a perfect world.

P.S. I came out as libertarian to the right.

I'm the odd man out.

STATISTS want government to have a great deal of power over the economy and individual behavior. They frequently doubt whether economic liberty and individual freedom are practical options in today's world. Statists tend to distrust the free market, support high taxes and centralized planning of the economy, oppose diverse lifestyles, and question the importance of civil liberties.

"LIBERTARIANS support maximum liberty in both personal and economic matters. They advocate a much smaller government; one that is limited to protecting individuals from coercion and violence. Libertarians tend to embrace individual responsibility, oppose government bureaucracy and taxes, promote private charity, tolerate diverse lifestyles, support the free market, and defend civil liberties."

A couple of those questions I picked the "libertarian" answer on need to be qualified.

I think the .gov should be able to regulate international trade if the other country has unfair trade practices itself (China)

I think the draft should be an option in severe cases.

The quiz is flawed.

First half: all answers are negatively correlated with being conservative (ie, disagree = +2 grids for conservative on the first list). Bottom is for Liberal. Censorship is directly related to the strength and leaning of a government (ie, communists and fascists censor everything equally, just the message is different).

Edit:
That said I'm at the very top-center corner of the chart (libertarian).
