I have a p38 in my truck at all times.

Used it once on a camping trip when it was almost -0. I was glad to have had it in my truck for years before hand.

I still use my knee board when I am spending all day in the car and on my cell phones. I also use AN/GRA-39 straps for rifle/ gun slings. I use my old mountain ruck when I go to the range.

Ya. I got it from a store called "gear down" in the late 90's in Havelock before I got out. I still use trigger flag for a key chain "Remove before flight".

ACUs, boots, CAC, & that damn Pizza-Chef hat (er black beret )...

Plus some really crappy, beat up airframe repair tools...

I'd say M16, too, but the last time I actually shot one was about 2 mos ago, and I retired my BDUs & black boots for good (anybody need some lack  boots (varying levels of wear), or BDUs?)...

Being in the military tends to cause you to use alot of their shit...

Personal property? I have a few spare bits of LCE shit (it comes in handy some times), and a M-9....

My training...

That and a firearm of some sort usually even if it isn't a mil issue type.
I have tool boxes and an e-tool in all of my vehicles, a large (working type) knife and binoculars.
It isn't so much as the specific item I use/carry around but rather the mindset and reasons I do have these items. My knife isn't a Kabar or a bayonet but I did learn how useful one can be as a tool. My truck binocs are cheap tascos but they work and that is always a help. My swiss army knife and/or leatherman isn't milspec but the army did teach me to be prepared and the neccesity to improvise when needed.
