Title says it all - what is considered a good price for one?
The local shop is having a 'Glock Day' with supposedly 'factory direct pricing'.
What would be the best price I could expect?

I just bought a 3rd Generation Model 19 at a shop here in Oregon for 499.99. Seemed like a fair deal to me.

If it is less than $500, it is a decent deal.

Around NH, every single store seems to be $525 for smaller calibers,  $575 for 10mm or .45

I can buy them locally for about $460, so I agree that anything under $500 is acceptable and the closer it is to $450 the more acceptable it is.  If you can't get them to come down on the gun try for a discount on ammo, holster, or other accessories you may want at the time you purchase the gun.  Nothing wrong with a  little haggling.

Dealer is roughly $399-$440 (depending on if you get them fro ma distb or if you are one of those authorized Glock dealers.) As someone said, if you get it for under $500 your getting a good deal.

$500 => Fair price

$475 => Good price

$450 => Best price

$469 is the best retail NIB price here.  Though the last Glock I bought from a dealer was $393 in '05.  (I miss the LEO discount. )  But it shows roughly what a master distributor can sell a gun for and still make a little $.

I would check Top Glock dot com. To the best of my knowlegdge they have the best pirice in town. and I believe that thier price included shipping. I'm thinking of buying a G19 myself...and unless someone can beat that...let me know, because that's where I planned on getting mine.
