Did anyone watch Bill Oreilly tonight , he had the founder of delta force on
and something about a new TV show starting tomorrow night ?
I just caught the tail end of it

The Unit premiers tonight at 2100 on CBS. Executive producers are David Mamet (outstanding writer/director) and Shawn Ryan (creator of The Shield). I am going to give it a shot based on those two names alone.

After 9/11, Haney was on all the news cable shows. Then just as quickly, he virtually disappeared. I'll bet he's a consultant for the show.

Eric Haney wrote a book called "Inside Delta Force" he retired as a Command Sergeant Major and was one of the original active members picked by Beckwith and the original core cadre'. A pretty good book.

Yep, I think they always introduce him as "One of the founding or original members "

Seems like a real quiet professional , very much the opposite of Marcinko of SEAL fame.
