Saw his pic in another thread and got me to thinking of a rumor I heard. Just wonderng if he was a sniper or other military service or if it is just a rumor.

He started his show in Canada in the 50's. So Mr. Rogers was on tv even before the vietnam war.

Fred Rogers was never in any military. He did NOT have tatoos down his arms, and was not a sniper, nor did he climb any cliffs of normandy, nor did he ever fire a weapon from the door of the space shuttle, ect

Fred Rogers was NOT there. Colonel Roosevelt had him transferred to Public Information just before the battle, and he served there until his discharge. Then he went to Canada and started his show.
