My roommate is traveling to SD next week for spring break, and the weather looks like 60% rain and high of 59F, does this mean that her spring break will suck, or is there plenty of stuff to do when the weather isnt 80 and sunny?
What about Sea World? She has tix to go there, is it no good in lousy weather?

Rain? Rain in SD? WTF I had a cousin who lived there 7 years and said it only rained a few times a year, guess you just got unlucky.

I spent 2 weeks there, police was punks. Im sure theres plenty of indoor stuff for her to do. I mostly skateboarded .

I hope "SD" means San Diego. At first glance I thought South Dakota. What a weird place for a college kid to take spring break. No offence to you South Dakotans, but your state is not really on the map as a spring break destination.

Spoke with my sister who was in North SD County this morning, and they got about two inches overnight. That's quite a bit.

As for next week, don't know what the long-range forecast is. Usually, if they forecast a lot of rain, it'll rain.

And as for the spring break thing, Sea World isn't a bad place to go in lousy weather. I think it'd beat some other amusement parks, especially if you're dressed for it. There's quite a few things to do in SD. If she's adventurous, there's also south of the border to consider. From what I hear, Rosarito Beach or Ensenada can be a lot of fun as long as you don't do anything so wild that'll get you looked at real closely by the policia.

She will have a good time. Forecasters predict rain here and usually it doesn't materialize into anything. I live in Orange County, but I visit SD atleast once a month. Depending on if she is looking to party or relax.. there is plenty to do in SD.

Unlucky timing.  Sunday in Orange County was still warm.  Some rain Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning.  No more expected till late this week and it should be gone by the time they arrive.

Wild Animal Park and tram around the fields should be open even if raining.  

You could easily spend a full day if not 2 in the museums in Balboa Park if the rain is there for a day or two.

It's really really unlikely you would get more than a day or two of rain.
