I was actually there in May of 2004 about the same time as you. I was there for 8 days with my wife for our 10th.

been to HI 3 times- was real nice. The AF paid for one...
 was almost worjt the 15 hr flight there in a c130just was looking at pics of our first trip there in 90. Couldnt even drink (legally). |

Hanalei Bay (on the north side - where it looks like a lot of your pcictures are from) is one of our favorites places in the whole world. |

Miss the islands, but did you ever visit Kauai in the 80's? They had to send in troops to get the dope growers out. You might go there and end up in the Molikai Express if you hiked/stumbled upon the wrong patch. Of course, you couldn't pack to save yourself. It is really good to hear it is safer now.

My wife and I stayed at Poipu about 2 years ago. It was nice. I really wanna go back. A friend's parents live on the island. I suppose that might get old -- maybe it could -- I am willing to try. |

I was there in 98 ( stayed on the Big Island for 10 days) and went back in 2004. (3 days on Lanai and 7 days on Maui)
God, I loved Hawaii and would love to go back. Real nice pictures! Gunny

We went in 1999 and the helicopter tour of the island was the highlight of the trip. Well worth the price. Beautiful place.
