Kel-Tec P-11, couldn't hit anything further than 10 feet away, and had to stand on the trigger to get it to fire, it was something like a 14 lb trigger pull....traded it in for a Ruger P345 and couldn't have been happier

Remington 522 Viper
 All plastic internal parts and always jams up... everytime a hot shell gets stuck in the ejection port in melts its way in the plastic.. WTF? A Ruger 10/22 it is NOT.

1985ish Ruger Tang safety M77 in .270 Win. It would misfire on the first round when cold about 25% of the time. I missed 2 whitetail bucks because of it. 3 "gunsmiths" said they had it fixed & same problem kept happening. I finally sold it to a guy for $250.00 after I told him of the problem. Looking back I think it was too much headspace and I could have just reloaded for it and fixed the problem.... It is the ONLY gun I've ever sold. |

Charles Day 1911. Part of the recoil spring retainer plug broke after 50rds, jammed the slide good and hard. I finally got it apart, the retainer plug looked like it was made by cro-magnons with stone axes.
They did, however, refund my $$, which I put toward a 6" GP100! |

brand new S&W 686 .357 with 8 3/8 barrell
REVOLVER.... biggest POS I ever owned!! From the first shot the spent shells would stick in the Cylinder & you had to smack the gun on the shooting table to hammer them out!!! When I took it in I was asked if I had the recall done. I don't remember what the recall was but it was off to S & W... Trigger problem?? Got the gun back ok, but double action trigger was DANGEROUS, I swear a couple of times it fired before I touched the trigger!! Unloaded I could cock the hammer & rap my knuckles on the handgrip & the hammer would fall!!! Back to the gunshop, the owner (The Powder Room, Dublin, Ohio) told me it was an easy fix & offered me full price trade in on another gun, without hesisatation I pointed at the 1911 I had been eyeballing for weeks & said "sold" |

Sounds like grease or oil caked on the firing pin spring, but I've been wrong before. I havent had a bad firearm yet, even the Mini 14 I had worked and shot good. I usually do alot of research before I buy though.

 Walther P5C Finding mags is a pain in the ass. Will not feed Reming Golden Saber. When new, trigger pull maxed out my 14lb scale.... Other than that, it's incredibly accurate for such a short barreled pistol. Sheep |

Bolt was completely dissassembled and cleaned (not very dirty). When it still did it Ruger sent me (N/C) a new firing pin spring (felt MUCH stronger). Same problem. Firing pin protrusion checked out perfect. All of the misfires had a very light firing pin strike and would fire after another round was fired. All misfires were on first cold shot and Rem., Federal, and Hornady Custom ammo was affected. Drove me nuts. Never have had any other rifle misfire, before or since.... Just one o' those lemons. eta - I do wish now I had it back because I've learned a lot since then and I'd whip that byotch into submission now!!

Springfield M6. Unusable "trigger", terrible sights, non-existant ergonomics, slow to use. It was designed for a single purpose, and absolutely failed at that.

thank god i never bought one, but my buddy has been saddled with it:
Taurus 24/7 9mm. Mushy trigger that ranges from 1/4 to over 1" of travel before bang only feeds about 80% of the time for no apparent reason. It will extract/eject no problem, and just wont feed. The mag is seated fine as it feeds the rounds above, just not randomly selected ones. I wouldnt wish that gun on someone shooting at me |

 Mags didn't work, sights looked like they were welded on from a coat hangar. Trigger felt like dragging a brick across a cobblestone street. |

old mini-30 ranch with .308 bore. for some reason when you shoot mil surp or wolf it would blow the trigger group out.
that and it couldnt hit the broad side of a barn.

Walther P22. I still own it, but only because it is cheap as hell to shoot. Wouldn't use it for anything more than practice/plinking. If it needs to go bang, then it needs to be my P228.

+1 me to only mine had the same problems before the 10rd. (and no thats not bs, 7th round: jam, 8th: no load, 9th: no load. somehow I sold it at a pawnshop and made $11 on it. |
