After you have taken a few rounds out of your ammo can, what do you see? A can half empty or a can half full? kind of a self evaluation test, don't you think?

What kind of ammo?

It makes me happy when my bullets go "bang"

It makes me sad when my bullets go away.

It makes me happy when the nice man in the tan vest gives me
more.

That's about how I feel on the entire subject.

If I load a single mag out of a full case, I see the case half empty and tell myself it's time to buy more ammo.

I always hate breaking into a case for the first time.  They just look so pretty when they're full... so organized and complete.

I am the absolute optimist.

I find myself looking at containers that are 80% empty and calling them "not very full".

if the can started full and i used half, it is now half empty.

if the can started empty and i added ammo half way, it is now half full.

You can never have enough ammo

Half capacity.

I pick the "Oh yeah" category because I've been shooting.

I'm a half full type guy.

Maybe I don't shoot enough.

While I tend to be an optimistic guy, I can assure you that if it's beer in that can it is defiantly ½ empty.

Yeah if it is Wolf I am more of the "almost done shooting that shit"  Q3131/WWB/GA I am more of a need more ammo type.

Thats the true question.  If it's 22lr that's $8 for 500 who cares.  If instead its 458 Win Mag or 303 Savage that costs an arm and a leg...................

I havent expended enough ammo to completely empty the can, I am not doing my job properly!!!

If it had half the ammo left, I would transfer it to a can half the size so it would be full.

I'd be wondering where my 14 other cans of ammo were!

Some people look at the glass and say it's half full. Other's look at it and say it's half empty.

As an engineer, I look at it and say "The glass is too big".

Empty space is just the lack of something.  The number of rounds is what you are measuring.  Therefore, if you have 500 rounds left in a can that had 1000, it's half full.  If you have 10 rounds left, it is .01 full.

You wouldn't say "My gas tank is almost full of air," would you?

I'd say, "I have half of a case of ammo." or "I have XX rounds of ammo left."

It's not half-full or half-empty.  The box is too big.

well, considering that the space that the protons, electrons, and neutrons actually take up is very small in comparison to the volume, even when its full its practically empty.

I guess that observation would make me the kind of person who is, um,   anal?

You have twice the capacity that is needed
