 Just bought one of those GAMO NRA Air Rifles .   What would be the ideal range to zero
the scope ?

What caliber is it?  177 or 22.  Pellet weight makes the biggest difference in drop at longer ranges.  Find the pellet you want to use and check its drop at different ranges.  15 yards is a pretty good start though.
