Same. I've been pushing for a safe but Mrs Goon seems more opposed to a safe than getting guns in the first place.

That's why you just kick in the door of your own house when nobody is home and rifle around the household stuff without removing anything. (ofcourse, I in no way advocate doing this) |

Watch a couple episodes of It Takes A Thief on Discovery. Watch how easy it is to break into someones home. A few episodes of that show will have anyone taking security a lot more seriously. |

My wife made a 4 gun rack from a kit for me many years ago. It's mounted in the family room and currently has a replica Civil War rifled musket, a 1916 Spanish Mauser in .308, a 1903 Springfield Mark I and an M48a Yogoslavian Mauser in it.

I did have. In Missouri it is legal to drive around with a loaded rifle in a window rack. That makes it much too tempting to shoot varmints out the truck window (NOT legal). When I changed trucks I didn't move the rifle rack. North Missouri has altogether too many city folks moving into the country who don't understand such things and won't stop and let you shoot across the lanes.
