Was I just too tired last night or did I see an ad in SWAT for a Kimber plastic 9mm?

Yeah i meant to look into this after seeing the ad. If it is any good i assume Kimber will dominate that sort of market as well.

It was surprising.

I guess with everyone with a CNC machine getting into the 1911 business, it makes sense they'd want to get their piece of the polymer business!

looks like the beginning of the next rush of plastic pistols: Kimber, SW M&P, FN, Taurus....
Wonder if Clot can get off it's ass and build something??

I too thought it bore some resemblance to the Steyr M series.

One thing I noticed in the magazine pic was that the grip angle seemed pretty extreme. Dunno if I'd like that.

If the pistol is reliable and mags cheap... and the grip angle was 1911-like... and the recoil wasn't spongy like a Glock... I might have to take a look at one...

they did and it was known as the Clot 2000

neat, if only for the roller bearings where the feed ramp normally is

I shot one...didn't care for it.

I only have one polymer pistol.  It is a Sigpro and the only reason I have it is because....well....I didn't have one.  I like the gun and I wouldn't hesitate to defend my life with it but I like the all-metal pistols much better
