Want to put it on a Marlin Glenfield Mod 60. Nothing to expensive but don't want a piece of crap.

Thanks

Bushnell Trophy

I have the $89 3-9x40 on an 8mm M48A Mauser and it has held up perfectly.

They have a $39, 3-9x32 version for .22 rimfires (shipping included).  I would definitely try it out for that price, and based on the one I have. Here is a pic from the site.

This is a little large for a .22, but here's a larger one on eay for $40.

ETA: for a rimfire, a Tasco would be fine too.  Here's another one.  I have a similar one on my CZ452 .22 cgi.ebay.com/TASCO-22-3-9X32-RIFLESCOPE-MAG39X32D-LIFE-WARRANTY_W0QQitemZ7214269607QQcategoryZ31711QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

this is mine with a Tasco that has held up fine.

Check out the Nikon 4x32mm ProStaff.  It has very nice optics.  I have one on my 10/22.  Goes for about $100.

Second choice would be a Weaver 4x28mm rimfire scope.  Also about $100 but the optics aren't quite as good as the Nikon's.  I have one on a Savage Mark IIGL.
