Somewhere in West Virginia, I don't know exactly where.

The waterfall is bigger than it might appear.  That log is a full-sized tree.  It is easily big enough to sit on confortably.  The entire waterfall is probably 75 feet high.

I took this pic the other day of my wife and really liked it for some reason. I think it's just a different angle than I typically get when I take pics of her and I liked how it turned out...

I like it, too - it's her at a natural state...  it's one of the everyday moments you get to see when she's just being her.  (and she's really pretty, too, which doesn't hurt.)

we're fortunate to live beside 1 of the most beautiful counties, tazewell county, va., bar none in my opinion.
the photos could be better but the sujects are good, this was christmas eve day '04.
beware lots of photos

different view of that mountain, rich mnt., zoomed

the other side of thompson valley

and a panoramic from west to east, 1  of my fav. regional views, the view looks distant in the photos of course, but it's much more impressive when it's closer and surrounds you almost 180 degrees
