If I didn't have a phone and someone wanted to contact me and decided to send a cable, where would they go to send it?

Is it even possible to still send and recieve telegrams?

Western Union does!

It cost $15

You type it on your computer screen, they essentially email it to the geographic location, print it on official Western Union paper, and then deliver it.

Me too, I mosey on down to the depot where my uncle is a station agent. If I need to send a message, he'll just tap it out for me.

You can tap in and send your own message; if the indians haven't cut the wires.
