they're asking me to confirm the dates I was in Iraq in 2003, just like they asked last year.  is this going to continue till I die or what?

This brings up a great point:  Isn't it amazing how one branch of the .gov cannot communicate with another?  Why can't the IRS communicate directly with the DoD and get the information they need?
