You guys are just to much about the belt thing.
The space behind the trigger doesnt bother me, its very little and the stock fit has clean lines and smooth. Guess I better post another pic...

Just from thier website, it takes 10rnd drums or 6rnd box mags, worked fine, you would have to train with the drum as it can be loaded either left side or right side load, load your drum for left and insert for the right and the ammo is backwards. It does increase the drag on the pump mechanism but ability to change ammo in a snap. Shooting doves and need a slug shot, just drop a mag and put in a different mag.

The stock performs per the specs..it does feel a lot smoother and it handles the recoil very nicely. I havent shot anything huge through it....yet but I would say its worth the money. Watch out for the cheap knock offs, they are just a plastic stock and not the Knoxx system. |

I was shooting 3-1/2 shells out of my 835 ulti-mag and the stock makes a huge difference. It looks kinda funny with the 28" barrel but my shoulder dosen't hurt anymore

Shotguns should be shot with several different rounds and brands to see how stuff groups.
I have a 590 and it likes some of the walmart cheap stuff, 15 bucks or so for 100 rounds. It actually does better with the bulk brand than some more expensive stuff loaded very similar. Get some paper or carboard, and a lot of it, and start learning how your specific gun patterns with different rounds at different ranges. Basically you have to shoot the gun with the ammo and learn how the ammo groups and also how well you handle the gun. Interesting setup, might have to learn a bit more about it. |

Cool... Thanks for the reply. I shot this setup today for the first time, it easy on the shoulder and very easy to control where the recoil doesnt cause and barrel rise. I was very impressed. Another guy had a 12g Ithica and that almost tore my shoulder off.. He shot this mossberg and couldnt believe the difference. I couldnt tell it was 12g, it was like shooting a hot loaded .223. Knoxx has done a great job with this stock. By the way I was shooting 9 shot 2 3/4 Win but saw the 100 rnds for 15 at wally world also. Pic of me at the range today, big get together shoot.

This is the one aspect I love about this board.
I do more reading then posting and learn so much before I spend my hard earned money. I wanted for the right buy for this combo, and it came along all put together and brand new. I could not believe the difference this stock make, its one of those things you can honestly say... WOW it really works ! |

Looks very nice. I'd really like to get a Knoxx CopStock for my 870. Only problem is it doesn't look like a side saddle would be compatible with the overfolding stock and I'd really like to keep the side saddle.
Though, when I first got my 870 I swore I was going to get a recoil reducing system in place asap. After I'd shot it on a few occasions I don't even know if I want to. I think I actually like recoil now and find 3" magnums to be quite a bit of fun.
As always all shotguns will work differant, but I personally use 00 Buck and 00 Buck Reduced Recoil loads for my home and #6, #7, #7-1/2 and #8 small game loads for clays. I've got 20ga and 12ga small game loads coming out the ying yang. |
