Corned beef and cabbage, goes well with the cornbread and blackeyed peas. Plus it supposed to mean something. I think it is the cabbage means you will do well money wise the new year, the peas are for good luck. And the corned beef is for a good harvest/good year for meat.

I'm going to start the New Year with jumbo shrimp. Boiled with Zataran's and a big bowl of  HOT cocktail sauce and a twelve pack of beer and some good music blasting, while football is on the TV!!

Pork roast, baked sweet potatoes, blackeye peas, green salad, asian coleslaw and a red wine to wash it down with. I hope not to eat too much because I got to lose weight and need to get in shape. Now I have to go do my walk and pushups and situps and....
