ok so at work today i get this guy, maybe about 28 to 30, looking at a M1 garand from springfield. It was a used gun so i let him fire off a clip in the range to test it out. He loved it and so on. All is well...... then he turns to me... flips the rifle over and asks if theres a kit to remove this plate and put on a 30 round mag.
 I dont even own a Garand (Yet) and i cringed at the thought of this guy getting any more ideas. |

thats like those few individuals that get a nice beautifull classic sks and slap a duckbill ak mag and tapcoize the hell out of em
makes me cry then i realize its not my gunn and shoot my own clean original sks, and all my other toys while im at it |

Just tell him to get and M1A instead. They're about the same price for Spingfield anyway.

ya but he wants a 30-06, so i showed him the Garand, my thought was "Its a Garand how can you go wrong?" shit he only wanted it for target anyway. i think he will be better off with a 10/22

A BM-59 is .308. A BAR is .30-06, but yeah, a BM-59 in .30-06 would be perfect. |
