Here are a few ...

The Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey is the first aircraft designed from the ground up to meet the needs of all four U.S. armed services. The tiltrotor aircraft takes off and lands like a helicopter. Once airborne, its engine nacelles can be rotated to convert the aircraft to a turboprop airplane capable of high-speed, high-altitude flight.

The Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) system is the first program designed to defend the homeland against ballistic missile attacks conducted by terrorists or rogue states. The system provides early detection and tracking, allowing for the interception and destruction of a ballistic missile during its mid-course phase of flight. As the prime contractor for GMD, Boeing is responsible for the development, testing and integration of all GMD elements.

A high-wing, 4-engine, T-tailed military-transport aircraft, the multi-service C-17 can carry large equipment, supplies and troops directly to small airfields in harsh terrain anywhere in the world day or night. The massive, sturdy, long-haul aircraft tackles distance, destination and heavy, oversized payloads in unpredictable conditions. It has delivered cargo in every worldwide operation since the 1990s.

The F/A-18E/F Super Hornet is a combat-proven, 5th generation strike fighter with built-in versatility. The Super Hornet's suite of integrated and networked systems provides enhanced interoperability, total force support for the combatant commander and for the troops on the ground.

The X-45C is an unmanned, autonomous combat air vehicle that flies high-risk operational missions and delivers precision weapons on target. Controlled via either line-of-sight or satellite communications, the X-45C is highly adaptable to changing battle conditions and can provide 24/7 electronic attack, reconnaissance, surveillance and intelligence gathering as well as engage in deep strikes to complement manned fighter and bomber forces.

The multi-mission AH-64D Apache Longbow is the next-generation version of original AH-64A Apache. With its fire-control radar, the aircraft is known as the AH-64D Apache Longbow. Without the radar, the combat-proven aircraft is called the AH-64D Apache.

A few more ...

Boeing is the major subcontractor to United Space Alliance, NASA's prime contractor for Space Shuttle operations. As such, Boeing's NASA Systems has performed design engineering and support for the Space Shuttle fleet since the first flight in 1981.

The ISS is the largest, most complex international scientific project in history and our largest adventure into space to date. When completed around 2010, the ISS will be comprised of more than 100 major components carried aloft during 88 space flights to assemble the space station.

Air Force One is a Boeing 747-200B that has been modified to meet presidential requirements. The aircraft is known by the radio call sign used when the president is aboard: Air Force One.

The PAC-3 is the next-generation Patriot missile, employing hit-to-kill technology to intercept and destroy tactical ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and air breathing threats through direct body-to-body contact using a Boeing-built millimeter wave seeker.

Based on the B-1A bomber, the B-1B was developed by Rockwell International in the 1980s, when 100 of the aircraft were produced to support a nuclear mission and were stationed at Strategic Air Command (SAC) bases. In the 1990s, the B-1B was transitioned to a conventional-weapons mission.

We make dial tone

I work on several switching platforms but primarily a Nortel DMS-10

The poor old thing is an antique as far as switching equipment is concerned.  It was originally installed in 1982 with a planned life expectancy of 20yrs.

I also work with Fujitsu FLM150 fiber optic transport terminals

We also provide internet service.

Calix is a fairly new product we use to provide DSL.

I build guitars.    Pics in my gallery.

My tools are primarily my hands.   Pics not currently available.    Mechanical implements used to
complete the transition from bare hands to shaped wood are a variety of hand and power tools made
by a variety of companies,  from Marples Blue Chip wood chisels to Makita, Bosch, Dewalt, Craftsman,
and the odd Chinese brand power tool.

But I don't actively build guitars at this time.    My working situation makes nothing, but we sell and
deliver a vast array of electrical supplies to building contractors and electricians so that they can
convert beautiful virgin lands into yet another stinking ugly scar on the land filled with buildings where
clueless morons who are a waste of all resources live their pathetic, useless lives,  go to their pointless
jobs,   overpopulate this already overcrowded area,  and get in my way whenever I'm on the road.
I really wish that everyone who has moved into this state in the last ten to fifteen years would LEAVE
FLORIDA AND GO BACK TO THE HELL THAT SPAWNED THEM.

I work for an engineering consulting company.  We make, um, design reviews, reports, and pretty pictures of stresses and strains.

These things are made by soul-less overwieght engineers hunched over computers all day, counting the hours until they can go home and play video games and post to online forums (not having had enough exposure to computers during the day, I suppose).

I have pictures, but they are too pathetic to post.

Used to work for a huge conglomerate that made helicopters, after that another huge conglomerate that made big f---ing jet engines.  I miss the cold war....
