Ok guys a few people have asked me this. First, if it doesnt look natural it probably isnt. Too large for the body.

2. Scars, these are the main surgical approaches
1. Around nipples
2. Under the breast
3. Under/in the armpit
4. around the belly button

3. Gravity
Normal one fall flatter when she is lying down

4. Gravity II
When she is leaning over, a lot of times there will be vertical ridges, real ones usually dont do this

5. Touch it! You can usually feel them
Newer techniques will bury the implants under the muscle and make it harder to tell by feel and just by looking.

6. Light-transillumination
Shine a flashlight under the breast in a dark room and you can see the outline of the implant. A lot of girls at nudie bars will allow you to do this if you want to see. Borrow the light from the bouncer.

7. Finally the skin is too tight.

I have seen excellent implants which were extremely difficult to tell that they were fake.

Say you had some Thermal Imaging Equipment, would you be able to see if a woman had implants by using it? I imagine that an implant would show up as a colder spot on the view screen.

It would depend on the temp of the implants. Also if they were under the muscle or not. CT/MRI and even old xrays can find them as well.

This is great knowledge for us single guys! I already downloaded this article for my personal database for future reference. And all this time I thought your user name, "ARDOC" connotes you are a Doctor of AR's(gunsmith). Not saying being a gunsmith would be bad at all.

Ha! You are all amatures.

If you really want to find out if they are real or not, do this:

When she isn't expecting it, lean over and give them a good slap. IF she says something like "Hey, those babies cost me $5,000.00 a piece" you have a good indication that they are fake, if she takes the slap as foreplay, go ahead and give her another one.

Does it matter if they are fake? its either they are filled with fat or some man made liquid. big freaking difference. If you don't take a chick cause she has fake tits send her over to me.

Yes, it matters to me if they are real or not. I would rather have a chick with small ones than fake ones. Usually, if a ckick has fake boobs, there is more false going on than just her breasts. If it is just fat or silicone, then why bother having it done. You can have her. I am a butt and leg man, so breasts are just a bonus.

I heard some of them only last 5-7 years at best(OK, that's longer than my relationships). And there's the possibility of leakage/rupture, scarring & encapsulation, etc.

Is this true, ARDOC?

Who do you think she'll want to pay for replacements of those 4-year-old ones in a few year?

I wouldn't want a girl with implants.

We get many every month that were removed for health reasons and they look nasty when they come to our histology dept. Many are hard and would make great softballs. I would find it hard to enjoy them now that I have seen them first hand after removal. We also had a young woman that died of certain reasons and had to to an autopsy on her. Well, she too had implants and they were not something I would want my G/F or wife to have done for the sheer pleasure of it. But each to their own I guess.

Prk, yes with some of the older implants, failures were common. This would release the silicone all over her tissues. Even the newer saline implants burst. I just saw one being replaced after only 2 years. You have to realize they are like intertubes or balloons. Sooner or later they will sustain enough of an impact to rupture them. And it really doesnt have to be that much force. But this is out my range of expertise. They also do become encapuslated by the immune system. They become hard as rocks. Its a pain in the ass trying to do a breast exam when they are like that. It literally cracks when you push on them. A really strange sensation. Greg3 is correct, with all the health repercussions. I wouldn't want my loved one to have them.

My ex-wife had fake ones - and they were awesome!! None of this stuff all of you are so concerned about.

Only thing(s) about her I miss are those breasts.

FWIW - there have been NO legitimate scientifically valid studies that have shown any serious problems with silicone breast implants. Dow-Corning (or whatever the company was called) was destroyed by greedy trial lawyers and media hype - but nothing was wrong with the implants.

DK-Prof is exactly right. All the studies show there is no correlation between silicone and disease. But tell that to Corning. It went belly up because of that false belief. Now some implants are marvelous. I just saw a set that were amazing. She healed with minimal scars and they were soft and beautiful. She loves them. The important thing to remember is to get a good surgeon. They are worth their weight in gold especially for cosmetic surgery. You get what you pay for!

Maybe, but come over to my neck of the woods and I will gladly show you about 30 of them down in our tissue room right now and you decide if nothing is wrong with the implants. Or I could go and did out all of our EOB's and you can see all of the patients that we have had to bill their insurance companys for the removal due to health problems. Of course I would have to redact(sp)? their names and SS#'s for legal reasons. Not flaming you but something is wrong with alot of the implants.

I actually saw something on either TLC or the Discovery channel about a study showing breast implants linked to reduced cases of breast cancer.

I don't trust any science that comes from a trial lawyer or environmentalist wackos.

I'd say if you notice them(ie rather large for her frame) they are probally fake. I saw an ex-girlfriend a little bit ago that had just had her implants and I was just mezmerized by them in her little tanktop. Good for her...bad for me.

The easiest way to detect implants is to note the woman wearing them - they are typcially more fake then their boobs!

OT: I was wondering what happens after these people die, and they are buried. In 2000 years from now, when people dig them up, there would be these 2 bloobs of silicone among the bones, I wonder if they would be wondering what's up?

Warlord, we disected human cadavers in med school. It was amazing how tough they are. We would pull one out now and then. When the Prof was gone, we tossed them around the room. They are seriously heavy suckers. They look like solid jelly fish.

A guy I knew worked in the coroners office. He told me if its fake(tits, pacemakers, joints, etc.)that it gets cut out and sent to the manufacturer so they can see how well it has held up.
