Dressed they get a peice of Candy.

Not dressed high school punks, they get nothing.

Dressed older people with no kids, I call then a prevert and tell them to scram.

when I was a poor college student I gave them whatever was on hand.  Loose change, a box of Corn Pops, deer jerkey, and yes a can of Manwich (once).

That would just be wrong!

It looks like a candy wrapper.  Kids probably think its a fruit roll-up or somthing till they bite it.

ETA get the flavored ones and you might get them to chew on it for a minute or two.  Till their parents see them "blow a bubble"

Apples with razor blades.

Usually something that I want leftovers of - milky way or candy corn.

I remember this one guy would give out a few pennies when I was a kid. Pennies??? WTH are you supposed to do with that?

Being that I have lived in apartment complexes, we don't get any trick-or-treaters.

+1

The local kids don't even trick or treat here anymore.  They usually have a party or something.  There are hundreds of kids out, but they ain't from around here.  It pisses me off.  They should stay in their own neighborhood.

In the past 5 years I have had exactly 3 kids come to the door.

It's hell living at almost the end of a 3/4 mile dead end road.

"Popcorn balls"........like caramel popcorn, only made with cooked molasses and lumped together into nice spherical shapes. It's some good shit. Of course I always make plenty of extra ones, otherwise the trick or treaters would get very little, as I love the damn things.

 They never show up here.

But, I might pick up some cans of Red Bull just in case.

The past few years my town has set either the saturday before or after halloween (depending on what day it falls on) for trick or treating and has the police stop anyone that does it on halloween I don't give out anything because of this, the tradition is to hand out candy on halloween, not some other day randomly picked by the town.

Sure are a lot of cheapo's here.

We give out the little candy bars, like snickers, milky way etc...

When I was a kid, if a house didn't hand out candy it probably got its windows soaped. Not saying I ever did it, but it did happen.

I'm thinking about handing out info sheets on Teutonic Religions.

A little nature religion / heritage / honor your ansestors, info card.

A history of pagan celebrations co-opted by the Christians.

Nothing. They don't come to the door, cause we leave all the lights out and the curtains drawn. No fuss, no muss.

If I am not working, I go out with my kids; no one shows up at my house anyways. If I am working, I usually buy a dozen bags of candy and pass it out as I drive around. Good PR.

Kids in costumes get candy.

Surly teenagers with no costumes get beef bullion cubes.

People bring their kids from all over to come to my part of the city, as all of the big houses are here, and they think they will score big, which they do. When I was little, I could fill two or three pillow cases in less than an hour. One house close by gave out 'king-size" candy, not the little bite-size.

Snoop Dog lives less than 3 min from my house I could walk there easy. I wonder what he give out for candy, little kid sized joints? I would not be surprised.
