I predict that there WILL be another Civil War in America. And this one will be fought over......religion vs. science. I am sorry to say, there will be ONE religion and science that is the U.S.A given the overall "intelligence" of our society. And depending on who wins...it will determine whether Humanity persists. It is the mandate of History. And, I am not optimistic. It troubles me that 70% of America believes in the Bible over demonstrated scientific "knowledge". "Science" does not know it all. "Science" does not pretend to know it all. "Religion" seems to know it all. 70% of Americans and 90% of the rest of the world "believing" some "book" written 2000+ years ago as the absolute truth...that scares the Hell out of me!!! Clearly, a lot of people are not living according to your book. You going to kill them? Throw them in jail? Get real. I've read books that "blew my mind", "turned me on" ....but the Bible is just another book. Please, please please, get your heads out of your a***s. Otherwise you (and your children) are doomed. P.S. I will be dead and in Heaven so it ain't gonna be my problem  P.S.S. Given that you have a 70/30 majority....I suspect you will ultimately win. I will be back from where I came from.... so I really ULTIMATELY don't care, except I will be looking down upon your miserable suffering "offspring" and I will not feel one bit o' pity.  |

Because I am living it! And I still remember from whence I came! Like I said, I was not living for 5956 years....and I was as happy as a litter of kittens. That is where I am going back to. It's pretty good...you should try it. p.s. I read in some Bibletract that a "disciple" fired a .45 through one ear and out the other and cleared out a life-long sinus problem. I highly recommend this "treatment". In the worst case scenario, you'll go to Heaven. What have you got to lose? Being a devout believer? It's not suicide. You're merely following the example of a more pious person!. |
