They are the "Blue Falcons."

Is this where the term originated? (blue falcon = buddy fuck)

I'm not trying to start any shit, I was just checking out a unit that I could possibly be stationed with (going airborne infantry) after my training. It could be any inf unit but will probably be an airborne unit. Coincidence or not?

Yeah, thats what they are but in the military they are often referred to as "Blue Falcons."

Ex.

Our LT took point and led us into a minefield; he's such a blue falcon.

I was in 3/325

Each battalion has a color
1st is Red
2nd is White
3rd is Blue
and 4th is Gold.

We always though it was funny that we were the "blue falcons"

82nd the Moderator was a Gold Falcon
