I used to be the supervisor at my old job (head lifeguard at a pool), and this one girl that worked there I knew was interested in me. Following the old rule of (don't shit where you eat, + supervisor and employee mix is not good), I never pursued it. She has a twin sister.. who prior to also working there, was somewhat interested in me. But, because I knew she was going to be working there eventually, I never persued that either.
Anyway, I have long been gone from that job. I work in a entirely different department, and only 3 hours a week (to keep my gym membership). Well, I've been somewhat attracted to the sister of the first girl.. espically after I "saved her" from being almost attacked by a few "social misfit" patrons a few weeks back. I guess, I've grown an attatchment? Here is the problem. I know the first sister was interested in me... how do I go about this, without stepping on her/anyone's toes? Or should I just leave it alone? I do have other interests, but being 20.. I'd like to date as many people as possible, to broaden my horizons.. if you will. Thanks in advance. |

You were never involved with either girl before? If not it's your choice to pick either one you want. The pick both crowd will be along soon.
Fixed it for ya... |
Git 'er done! Show a little interest and let them fight over you. Take one or both. |
Dude....they're fucking twins! Why does it matter which one you pick?
You can't single out one girl without hurting the feelings of another. It's impossible. If you date both they will both get pissed. If you don't date either of them then they will both be hurt too.
Ah! To have such problems! |
Thats kind of tough, what ever you do, don't make the twins end up hating each other. ask the first one out.
Just pick them both, but don't tell them, only refer to them as baby, and then deny ever knowing there was more than one.
You are going to have to try them both out before making a choice.
That is if you can't handle both. |
You don't owe anything to the first girl, so go out with the second one. She's the one you'd rather date, anyway. It's very decent of you that you'd consider the feelings of the first girl, but asking her out would just pave the way for useless drama down the road, especially once she figures out that it's her sister you really wanted.

i voted to get both, but this is the right answer |
Buddy, if you are serious about this, you just got the best advice you can ever have: FROM A WOMAN WHO HANGS WITH GUYS WITH GUNS!!! |
Good advice..... Me? As single as I am and as much as I would love to be in you dilemma....I would RUN. They are TWINS....the only person who WILL get burned amidst all of this is you.................. unless they happen to be Old School Mormon.....then, by all means....... GET BOTH! |
Bah. He just needs to make sure he can tell them apart really well, b/c when they pull the old 'switcharoo' on him, he won't go down in flames. |

Go for the one YOU want. I'd rather regret doing it than regret not doing it.
Yet another reason to "git while the gittin's good!" This is gonna end in tears....I just know it! |
99% end in tears, so that's no big surprise. I just can't wait for the day we see the post titled 'So my g/f and her twin decided to play a joke on me'... |

Is this a college job or truly a career? If its just a job to put yourself through college where there is an expected high rate of turn over - I don't see why things must be so serious. If this is a profession, they I applaud your effort to be professional.

Do you plan on trying to retire from this job? I didn't think so, GO FOR IT! |

Sound advice from a woman. You should heed it. |
i say get both if you can....but if you can't take what you can get
Even if you only go with one twin, in time honored tradition, they will switch off on you and compare notes.
Let's see they're twins, and you know for a fact one is interested in you. Go for the sure thing.
All or nothing. Not like this is a life or death situation, why bother playing it safe.
I was having another conversation with another board member regarding this recently. CTR |

College job, I guess if you want to call it. The job factor isn't important right now, it was before. It wasn't a employee asking out another employee then.. it was going to be a supervisor dating an employee. Employee - employee dating I wouldn't have minded.. but, I was her supervisor. |

Seriously, SP1Grrl gave ya the best advice. |
That's 'cause normal girls give the second best relationship advice. Lesbians give the best advice. 'cause they can think both ways it seems. |
I work with a lesbian.. I'll have to remember that. |

What he said........WarDawg |
well if their twins................sounds like a two for one special.
You should hit it. In fact hit the 2nd twin so hard the 1st twin can feel it miles away.
*Points at SP1Grrl* She's good. |
If one twin sleeps with you while pretending to be the other one, is it really cheating?
I guess you would be screwed anyway. Saying, "Honest, I couldn't tell the difference." would go over like a turd in the punchbowl. |
I can tell them apart pretty easily..... most people can't. I have twin sisters.. you look for minor details to tell them apart. Would be kind of funny if they did play a trick on me though... |
You gotta try them both out in order to know for sure which one you like.
Women are like swimming...sometimes you gotta dip your foot in the pool before you jump in. |
