A reliable source out os South Florida reports that, due to nuclear disarmament talks breaking down with North Korea, the Korean government let loose a non-nuclear ballistic tipped trans-continental missle to show the U.S. and other nations involved in the peace talks that, if they don't get what they want, they can and  will put a "HOT" warhead on the next one they shoot across North America's bow.

North Korea seeks a light water nuclear energy generating station, paid for by the United States, and other assistance such as surplus food reserves, in exchange for N.K. to disarm their atomic energy program.

"Don't make me push the red button !!!"  the North Korean dictator Kim Jong Il  was quoted by an anonymous source as saying.

Who is this "reliable source out of South Florida" you are always speaking of?  Matt Drudge?  Some Haitian voodoo priestess?  Isn't this like the 2nd/3rd post that begins like this?

The other one(s) didn't pan out if I remember correctly.

One hour after a ballistic missile of any kind heads toward North America, Kim Jong Il and his prison camp country will be glow-in-the-dark for the next hundred years.

Gordon asks: Where'd you get that news, from the supermarket check out stand?

No.   I've got a e-mail pen pal that lives down in South Florida (Key West area) that works in a psychiatric ward (or he's a patient there.... I forget what he said).   Anyway, it's supposed to be really good, inside scoop, kind of stuff.  Don't you agree?  You won't hear this stuff on network T.V.

ha! good one. We have anti missle technology that I am quite sure NK hasn't caught up with yet. Aside from the fact that we would still see it coming before it went across the continental US

Easy way to tell. Just look at N. Korea. If it's currently under a big mushroom cloud, then yes, they launched it.

On the Associated Press wire now, less than one hour old:

SEOUL, South Korea - In a second day of bluster after its disarmament accord,     North Korea accused the United States on Wednesday of planning a nuclear attack and warned it could retaliate.

North Korea "is fully ready to decisively control a pre-emptive nuclear attack with a strong retaliatory blow," the communist nation's Rodong Sinmun newspaper said in an English-language commentary carried by the state Korean Central News Agency.

That article (or one with the same subject) is also approx. 4" from a story about the ball of fire on Drudgereport.com.

Methinks someone saw the two, put 1 and 1 together and got 2,302,993,999.28 and here we are.

Ahhh, OK.....a joke, something said or done to provoke laughter; especially : a brief oral narrative with a climactic humorous twist.

There is so much to learn about you Earthlings.

LOL, someone doesn't know the difference between "transcontinental" and "intercontinental." Apparenty the North Koreans in Los Angeles really hate the South Koreans in southern Florida!

Could this be a publicity stunt/hoax to promote the new ABC show ? Seems kind of funny that an internet "news" item coincides with the plot line of a new show, on the night it premiers.

edited to add; Not that they would stage the event. All they would have to do is have 10-15 callers "report"the event.
