To help LT remove items from his apartment. I have a CHL and LA has reciprocity. Are they still disarming people down there?

I have my Canton Fire/Rescue shirts, hats and bunker gear that I can take if necessary to blend in with the 'Good Guys' but I would like an update on the current state of affairs in the city of NO.

You're heading towards the Grand Lodge of Louisiana, and there's a couple of items that I need you to pick up for me from the ruins of the Etoile Polare Lodge.....on Kerlerec Street.....

Basically, a cape, a large book, and a, uh, lamp.

A few signs and you will walk, almost invisibly, through any line of law enforcement folks.

I only wish that I could go with you!

Yep.

At 1130 Kerlerec Street, between Esplanade and St. Bernard, right off North Rampart Street!

The Etoile Polare Lodge No. 1. The "Northern Star' Lodge, in other words.

It's the 'No. 1' Lodge in Louisiana, chartered in 1793!

Unfortunately, it was completely looted shortly after Hurricane Katrina struck!

Hopefully, some of its contents may be recovered some day....from pawn shops.

I have been driving through New Orleans for the last 8 days . We have been working in Chalmette .
No one is being stopped and disarmed . Many residential areas are still flooded . Interstate travel is limited for civillians . I work for the power company so the Military doesn't even give us a second look .
The traffic can be a real bitch on the access roads in and out of the city .

Take food , water and a camera .
