caliber to metric is confusing.

can anybody translate the following metric bullets to caliber bullets?

9x 19
9x 18

is a 380acp  the same as a 9x 17?

9x 18 = 9 MM Makarov

Yes


9 X 17 and 9 X 19 use .355" bullets and 9 X 18 uses .363" bullets.  The second # is the length of the case.
