Reminds me of a story I read on this board not too long ago where they were doing the same thing in Africa. And what's this ALLOWED shit? "Only law enforcement are ALLOWED to have weapons"??? It's kind of funny.
I Asked Cam of nranews.com last week if he thought that armed looters in New Orleans would have an positive impact on the global gun ban sought by the United Nations. He said NO  I guess I was right in saying YES. The Odd thing is I thought it would take until next year till they started confiscating arms. I didn't know it would only be days.According ABC News on 9/8/05 the so-called "Rich People" were being disarmed in their homes but were told that they could stay at their residences. I don’t blame them for hiring security Co.'s to protect themselves and their belongings. If I had the $$ and no other option I'd probably do the same. |

They want EVERYBODY out of the city. They don't want to feed or care for hungry, thirsty, diseased holdouts. There WON'T be any human services. No food, gas, power, hospitals, stores, gov't offices....NADA. They don't want to deal with people at all. They will want to use the roads for clean up equipment and supplies, since there's no place else to park. It's a toxic waste site.
What better way to get rid of the holdouts than to suspend human rights? It sucks, but I can see what they're up to. |

Ok say you were there, could'nt evac. before the storm for what ever reason. What would you do when they come to your door? Most of us could hold off a small force for a bit, but that's not what I mean. How would you get all of your firearms out, or would you try? I think I'd try to take my favorites and sneak out somehow. Maybe dissassemble and hide them in some luggage. Either way it would suck because what ever you leave behind, you would likely lose. I'm not trying to hijack, just a thought I had. Scott |

This is insane, there are armed looters, but a law abiding citizen can't even have a gun to even the odds, this is truly a sad day.
Police that confiscate their guns, resulting in that persons harm from some other threat, should be tried for negligent homicide.

No, those who thought up gun confiscation, those who autorized it, and those who participate in it, and those who advocate it or agree with it need to undergo the death penalty.
new orleans is in a culture war and the gun-confiscators have sided with the anti-American side...that is treason. The rosenbergs were executed for treason, john brown was executed for treason. This is no different. Death by torture would be an appropriate penalty. If that in not possible, then death by hanging or impaling. If that is not possible, death in the electric chair. Baring that, death by leathal injection. liberal idea: disarm those who have posessions and let them be the victims of the welfare recipitant's young illigetimate male offspring. They see that as 'social justice'. liberals believe in 'from each according to his abilities and to each according to his needs. That is just SO stupid. Social Justice actually is: from each according to his contribution...and to each according to his...contribution. Now, that IS social justice. Note: the mayor and police chief are liberal democrats...that is totalitarian socialists. They are no different than hitler, stalin, kennedy, che, eichmann-shumer, castro, eichmann-clinton or any of the other liberal/nazis.
