Hey, I was recently put in charge of my college's gun club and have been tasked to purchase a shotgun to be used for trap shooting. Unfortunately I know next to nothing about this sport and everyone who did has graduated. Im looking for a shotgun that would be appropriot for people just beginning at trap to use, hopefull under 4-500 dollars (our budget is fairly limited). I was considering a CZ 712 shotgun as it is from a company that had a good rep and seems to fit the bill. Any thoughts? I'm open to any suggestions. here is the gun

Handguns are the shit, I would expect comparable quality.  No shotgun experience with CZs though.

Find a second hand Beretta 390 or 391.  The CZ shotguns are manufactured by Huglu in Turkey, and I would estimate that they are an unknown for heavy club use.

Wal-Mart for the cheap 390/391's you know the ones with the black fiberglass stocks and the matte finish.
