A number of them were on a bridge together in jumnpsuits and flexcuffs. Many were released before the storm hit from city jails.... |

I HEARD one RUMOR that they were taken to the SuperDome. But without supervision, or adequate supervision anyways. Pay attention to the words "heard" and "rumor". I have no idea if there is any truth to this.

Um...I done heard tell.........
NPR ran a senior LA corrections official. Name & dep't escape me at this moment. He described in some detail the lengths the corrections department went to in relocating prisoners from the jails in the danger zone. Long story short, they re-distributed inmates through out the state. YMMV |

I'll tell you what happenned to the prisoners. Many are being bussed to your town.

I don't think they released any prisoners serving a sentence although they may have released prisoners who were in jail in lieu of paying a fine.
