Budweiser Select, $11.98/case.

Coors Light, $14.99 for a 30-pack cans.

That comes to about $3.00 a sixer. That's what we paid in high school back in 1977.

I'm in low-cal, low-carb, piss water beer heaven.

I just bought a case (30 cans) of Busch for $11.99 at my local friendly truckstop. They have a "beer cave" - a walk-in frige chock full of every beer imaginable. I like standing in there for 20 minutes on a hot day pondering my choices. I always end up with a case of Busch, but the "pondering" process sure feels nice in the summer.

That's a good price. I don't think I've ever seen it for sale in California, so I've never tried it.

Yeah, I bought a 20 pack of Miller Light bottles at Walmart for $9.99 tonight.  And after watching A&M lose to Clemson, I drank about half of them!  They had Coors and Bud for the same price.  Lonestar is $14.99 for a 24 pack, however much sense that makes.

I lived in California up until January, and I can't recall seeing it either. If I DID see it, I don't know that I would've bought it. It's just that around here, well, it's kind of a midwest staple. It grows on ya.

It's like Bud, but with a tad more flavor.

Malt liquor doesn't meet my low-cal, low-carb down and out criteria.

Okay, the Coors Light kinda sucks. I think I'll stick to regular Coors and Budweiser Select.

Save the imports and micros for special occasions.

Eh, my beer is always on sale or cheap to say the least:  Milwaukee's Best Ice.  I'll throw a couple of 4 packs of the Guiness.  It's my treat after I cut the lawn.  My motivator...

Good on ya! I've got a virgin bottle of Johnnie Walker Black marinating in the cabinet, waiting on my ETS date (74 days).  Makers Mark will hold it down till then!

They have been running regular Coors for $6.99 a 12 pack around here lately with a six pack going for $5.99. Two of them are still cheaper than a 30 pack so it's all good.
