I was watching these people stand outside waiting for buses..can they possibly walk across that bridge to the north shore of Pontchartrain? The Israelites made quite a walk out of Egypt one time.

What is the distance? ANyone know?

About 20 miles if the causeway were not totally damaged.  It is missing whole spans.

I believe it is 27miles
I also believe it has been destroyed

Nevermind then...maybe the Chinese can donate a bunch of Bicycles.

20 miles if the bridge were'nt smoked...it could be done.
